MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop music industry is being influenced through his worldwide impact. Una Lady Como Tu, his smash hit of 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. In 2017, he released ADN which was his debut long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached the top 8 spot according to the Top Latin Albums Chart. Following that year, he teamed up with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca, an album that was a Top Five hit. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel for Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina within the year following. Later in 2021 he was featured in a duet with TINI on her streaming hit track Maldita Foto. 2000 saw him perform the hit single La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo's mother and brother were musicians at the time he was born. He has said in interviews that music is compulsory. He started playing the saxophone, guitar the ukulele, and keyboard when he was when he was a child. His initial goal was a career as a vet the brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with a Cuban instructor and as a result personally discovering his talent as a musician changed the direction of his life.
